Mandatory Continuing Education (MCE)

Q: What is Mandatory Continuing Education (MCE) requirement for REALTORS® ?
A: Licensed real estate agents must take 8 hours of approved continuing education courses every two years. A minimum of 2 of these hours must be in a core course. The 8 hours of continuing education must be taken between each license renewal period. Completion of 8 hours of continuing education is a requirement for renewing your license.

Q: Can you tell me how many MCE hours I have completed?
A: Real Estate agents are responsible for keeping up with the MCE hours they have completed. No central location has a record of the MCE courses taken by every real estate agent. Course providers only keep records of students who attended the courses they provided.
